I can't tell you much about this ride because Kevin and Kyle did not submit a "Ride Story" to the website. Kevin asked to borrow a horse so he could try out his first 50 mile ride with Kyle. I gave Joker to Kyle to run while I am recuperating from my surgery (see the Hysterical-ectomy story). I knew Joker and Kyle would get along just fine because Kyle tends to ride the same way I do - little or not effort and let the horse do what it wants.
So, Bee-Bee completed her first ever 50 mile endurance ride. She's done several two day 50 mile CTR's. Kevin completed his first ever 50 mile ride. And I'm not sure who was more tired...Kevin or Bee-Bee. They did it with a ride time of 9hrs 22min, meaning they had exactly 8 minutes left on the clock. WHOO HOO. Turtle award, here we come!
Kudo's to Kevin! Kyle left him alone on the last loop, so it was Kevin and Bee-Bee talking each other into finishing the ride. They did an excellent job together.
